Inital Enrolment Enquiry Application
Once completed, please return your enrolment enquiry form to the school office to collect your enrolment pack.
Every endeavour is made to maintain enrolment places for Catholic families who may enter the area throughout the year.
The enrolment process commences at the beginning of Term 2 each year. Parents are encouraged to contact the office to obtain an information pack which includes an enrolment form.
An Information night is generally held in late April or early May. This session is for prospective parents who would like to find out more about the school. After this evening the school holds a number of school tours where families can see the school in action. This is a casual walk through the school with the Principal where parents get a deeper insight into school life watching the children in various classes.
Once parents lodge their enrolment application form a booking is made to meet the Parish Priest and Principal in separate 15 minute interviews. The meeting with the Parish Priest is to simply meet and have a brief discussion about why you have chosen St Dominic’s. Father likes to meet all families who enrol at St Dominic’s. After this meeting parents spend time with the Principal where specific information relating to the development of your child is discussed.
Once this process is complete the Principal will finalise the Prep list and letters of offer are sent to parents in August.
The orientation program commences in Term 4 and usually consists of four sessions where children come to the school for approximately 45-90 minutes in order to familiarise themselves with the school environment.
